Honda outdoes themselves with October sales numbers

How about that October, huh? The Red Sox won the world series, our government shut down and lord only knew how its impact on Americans far and wide would affect our industry in turn. Nevertheless, we remained confident here at Germain Honda of Naples. After all, it’s like we always say: if you can’t believe in your lineup, what can you believe in?

Well now that our favorite automaker has reported their October sales numbers, we’ve never been more confident in these beauties at our dealership.

Last month, Honda went and sold 114,538 units, making for a 7.1% increase over their sales in October of last year. Not only was it enough to bump their year-to-date sales total up to 1,237,550 units, but that too marked a year-over-year increase of 8.5% from their sales in the first 10 months of 2012.

As for the models that helped us get to this point, there were three in particular worth singling out.

First, you’ve got the 2014 Honda Accord with its sales of 25,162 units last month, launching it well past its 300,000th sale of the year. Then, there was the 2014 Honda CR-V that had its best October sales since 2006 with 22,554 models shipped. And last but not least, there was the 2014 Honda Civic with 27,328 vehicles sold, it’s best since October of 2001.

Needless to say, November has its work cut out for it, but knowing this lineup of ours, we’d be shocked if it didn’t rise to the occasion.
